How Reliable Event Wi-Fi Keeps Vendors, Organizers, and Communities Connected

Summer is event season. Across the communities we serve, festivals, downtown celebrations, chamber events, farmers markets, concerts, county fairs, and community fundraisers bring people together while supporting local businesses.

Behind every successful event is something most attendees never think about: reliable connectivity.

Today’s outdoor events depend on technology more than ever before. Vendors process card payments, volunteers scan digital tickets, organizers coordinate staff across large event spaces, sponsors run interactive booths, and food trucks rely on cloud-based point-of-sale systems. When the internet works, no one notices. When it doesn’t, everything slows down.

En ALLO Business, we’ve helped keep community events connected for years by providing temporary event Wi-Fi and outdoor wireless solutions for festivals, fairs, sporting events, concerts, and community celebrations in our fiber footprint markets.

Event Wi-Fi Is About More Than Guest Internet

When people hear “event Wi-Fi,” they often think about attendees checking social media. In reality, reliable connectivity keeps the entire event running.

A dependable network helps support:

  • Secure payment processing for vendors and food trucks
  • Ticket scanning and digital check-in
  • Communication between event staff and volunteers
  • Sponsor activations and interactive experiences

For event organizers, reliable connectivity is part of the infrastructure that makes a successful event possible.

Powering Community Events Beyond the Office

We spend a lot of time helping businesses stay connected in their offices through fiber internet, managed IT services, and business communications.

But our commitment to reliable connectivity doesn’t stop at the office door.

We’re proud to help power community events across the markets we serve by providing temporary Wi-Fi and event connectivity that keeps vendors, organizers, volunteers, and staff connected from setup through teardown.

Our team designs, deploys, monitors, and supports temporary wireless networks that keep vendors, organizers, volunteers, and attendees connected from setup through teardown.

In recent years, we’ve completed more than 135 temporary wireless deployments, supporting everything from small vendor markets to large public festivals with thousands of attendees.

Our experience includes deployments for:

  • Telegraph Concert Series
  • Greeley Stampede
  • Midnight at the Oasis
  • Chase County Fair
  • Fremont Oktoberfest
  • ZooFest
  • Taste of Lincoln
  • Friday Night Lights
  • Norfolk LAN Party
  • Pride in the Park
  • Hispanic Heritage Celebration
  • Old West Balloon Festival
  • And numerous community festivals, sporting events, and fairs throughout our fiber foot-print regions

Community Events We’ve Helped Keep Connected

Lincoln Telegraph Concert Series | Lincoln, NE

For about five years, we have provided outdoor Wi-Fi for the Telegraph Concert Series, a free weekly summer concert held outside our Lincoln store.

Each Wednesday, the event welcomes anywhere from 600–800 attendees, along with local bands, food vendors, breweries, neighboring businesses, and community partners.

Our outdoor wireless solution supports vendor payment processing, event operations, internet access for performers and organizers, and dependable Wi-Fi for attendees. Because the deployment sits directly outside our Lincoln office, it also serves as a real-world demonstration of our outdoor wireless capabilities while providing community Wi-Fi beyond concert hours.

Greeley Stampede | Greeley, CO

One of Colorado’s largest summer celebrations, the Greeley Stampede attracts thousands of visitors each year for concerts, rodeos, food vendors, and family entertainment.

During this year’s event, ALLO Business supported:

  • 16,721 total device connections
  • 3,051 simultaneous connections at peak usage
  • 1,393 average daily connections

Reliable event Wi-Fi helped support vendor payment systems, event operations, and staff communications throughout one of the region’s busiest annual celebrations.

Midnight at the Oasis Car show Event | Yuma, AZ

Each year, Midnight at the Oasis brings more than 30,000 attendees to Yuma, making it one of the area’s signature community events.

We provided fiber connectivity this year for more than 20 vendors, helping businesses process payments and serve attendees without worrying about unreliable internet.

The event also represents an important part of our relationship with the Caballeros of Yuma. As one of the community organizations that welcomed ALLO when fiber first arrived in Yuma, this partnership reflects our ongoing commitment to investing in the communities we serve—not just through fiber infrastructure, but by helping local events succeed.

Planning an Outdoor Event? Let’s Talk.

Whether it’s a weekly neighborhood concert, a regional festival, or a community tradition attended by tens of thousands, dependable connectivity helps create a better experience for everyone involved.

Your vendors need reliable payment processing. Your volunteers need dependable communication. Your organizers need confidence that the technology will simply work.

At ALLO Business, we’re proud to support the communities we serve and the local events that operate within them.

If you’re planning an upcoming event, let’s build a connectivity solution that keeps your operations running seamlessly from the first setup to the final teardown.

Because behind every great event is great connectivity.
