Traditional TV has become increasingly costly to deliver due to frequent price hikes from content providers and the ongoing trend of channels being dropped or reorganized. Those issues ultimately impact customers, and that’s not the experience we want for our communities.
DIRECTV offers a modern, more flexible way to watch TV without the constant rate increases or unpredictable channel changes common in traditional cable. By partnering with DIRECTV, we can provide a more stable channel lineup, upgraded features, and a cost-effective solution that keeps our customers first.
You certainly get more bang for your buck with DIRECTV, which will range from about $10-$20 less expensive than your traditional TV bill with ALLO. Plus, you get more channels, less hassle, and no bulky equipment.
Traditional ALLO TV will be removed on February 28th. We encourage you to make the switch to DIRECTV now so you can enjoy a smooth, uninterrupted transition and take advantage of upgraded features and cost savings sooner.

What’s great about streaming with DIRECTV is that it is very similar to traditional TV. Whether you choose the Gemini device or only use the app on your phone, the setup is a breeze. The Gemini Voice Control Remote is a customer favorite that makes flipping channels easy. And our technicians are always happy to swing by and help walk through everything with you!
Once you switch to DIRECTV, your TV charges will come directly from DIRECTV on your new DIRECTV bill. Your ALLO TV billing will stop as soon as you notify us that you’d like to cancel your traditional ALLO TV service.
To get started with DIRECTV, a soft credit check and AutoPay enrollment are required. The credit check does not impact your credit score, but your credit does need to be temporarily unlocked if it’s frozen. This is a standard step to activate the streaming equipment and helps ensure a smooth setup.
No contracts! Plus, you get a 2-year price lock, giving you consistent pricing you can count on for the next two years.
You won’t be charged for your ALLO TV equipment. You can recycle it on your own or bring it to your local ALLO store, and we’ll take care of the recycling for you. Please be sure to keep your modem and router plugged in for your internet service.
We’re not talking about the old school DIRECTV, so there’s no satellite dish required! All packages include one Gemini device. The Gemini is a small streaming device that plugs directly into your TV, along with the simple-to-use Gemini remote, which also has a voice control feature that is a fan favorite!
If you have a compatible smart TV, Roku, Firestick, or other compatible device already, you can stream directly through the free DIRECTV app on additional devices and wouldn’t need to purchase multiple Gemini devices.
Your Gemini streaming devices will be shipped directly to you, along with an easy step-by-step guide for self-installation. Most customers get them up and running quickly – but if you need help at any point, just give us a call, and our team will be happy to walk you through it.
